As some of you may already be aware, I’m not quite what you would call a gym bunny and with the credit crunch (yawn) in full force, a gym membership is certainly not as much of a money spending priority.

I went to an all girls private Catholic convent school (only black person and Protestant but we won't dwell on that!) and despite having nuns around us to instill holy virtues in us and all that jazz, there was a huge interest in sex and who had lost 'it', followed by muchos wearing of the loss of virginity like a badge of honour.

We all know how difficult it is to endure a busy working day, find the time to socialise, cook dinner (not that I personally partake in much in the way of cooking mind) and all those other niggling little things in between, let alone find the time to relax.
Sometimes going to the gym is simply the last thing on my mind and as much as I’d love to be one of those people who sprightly and annoyingly say ‘Right, I’m just off for a run” on their lunch break, it just isn’t me I’m afraid.

16 & Pregnant is MTV’s latest foray into reality television. The show is structured similarly to their True Life series: you meet a 16 year-old girl who is pregnant, in high school, and keeping the baby. As far as reality television goes, it fits the bill: drama, drama, drama. But it’s more than just drama and sad stories.
