We've been talking a lot about budget beauty buys and how to save money and make your own beauty products at home - but we've found that in these winter months, staying healthy is just as im...

We will start this review by stating that we know everyone reading BitchBuzz is a diva. (Whether or not you'd like to admit it...)
You're probably a glorious, strong, sassy, out-spoken woman that the world should sit up and take note of. We will also state the obvious, being this type of TOWANDA woman comes along with what might be a wee-bit of stress.

Toxic friends. Everyone has at least one of these. The person in your life who is always embroiled in drama, the complainer, that friend who goes out of their way to passively aggressively make you feel like a bad friend or person.
Though it is counterintuitive, most of us have problems cutting people like this loose from our lives. Maybe it's because it makes us feel like we're being judgmental or harsh; because maybe somewhere deep in our hearts we think that there is tr...

Our dear Deputy Editor Liz will be visiting London for the first time on Friday, for a week, and we recently went through a run-down of best practices for Transatlantic flights. After an increidbly long Skype chat, I realized that I have a lot of (if not maybe too much?) travel information stored in my brain.

Today I came across something delightfully mind-blowing. Indianapolis joined the National Day of Protest for equal rights.

It’s one week later and I’m still a bit giddy over the presidential election, but my euphoria is tempered by my extremely depressed bank account. I’ve had to break out the credit cards for regular expenses, playing the cash glow game like a bank--only my bailout isn’t coming any time soon.
Over the last three months I’ve had to settle on late payments for my student loans twice, and though my mortgage has never been ‘late’, I always have to pay it within the 15 day grace period follow...

With NuvaRing being the latest form of birth control to become the victim of lawsuits, I can't help but wonder if the side effects to birth control are getting worse as we experiment with more "convenient" methods of delivery. Of course every woman has the right to demand flexibility in her birth control regime, but what's more important? Flexibility or pulmonary embolysm, heart attack, and death?

It would have made my day much easier last Tuesday if I hadn't dragged myself and the two kids to the polling place to vote. I could have avoided the chilly, rainy weather. I could have spared my back the strain of lugging the baby out in the infant carrier. I could have avoided the aggravation of needing to leave the line to accompany my eight year old to the bathroom.
